TUSCAN TRADITION, FANTASY, LOCAL PRODUCTS

The Ausonia restaurant has a capacity of around 100 seats. You may choose between our indoor and outdoor spaces, with the latter located in our beautiful garden where you will be surrounded by greenery and the colors of Tuscan Maremma. It is possible to use the restaurant service during both lunch and dinner.

The main feature of the indoor dining hall is its natural light that complements the whole environment with a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. This is supported by an adjacent lounge hall and a smoking area in the outdoor garden too. The indoor hall, accessible to the disabled, can be set up with an Imperial table, a buffet, cocktails, or in a traditional manner.

The Ausonia restaurant offers a variety of courses ranging from traditional cuisine to a contemporary reinterpretation of Tuscany’s main gastronomic dishes. We offer meat options selected by our local butchers, whilst the fish can be frozen or, depending on the catch of the day, grilled or baked. We personally favor blue fish, such as anchovies and mackerel, as appetizers and second courses. Our Cuisine serves artisanal Tuscan bread, made with either white flour or whole-meal. Additionally, in order to meet most of our guest’s needs, every day we offer vegetarian alternatives in our menu.

SHORT SUPPLY CHAIN, GENUINENESS’, ARTISAN PREPARATION

In recent years we have paid particular attention to the choice of short-chain products, respectful of both tradition and the environment around us. Whilst our cuisine aims to be fresh and genuine it simultaneously strives to provide a variety of dishes and detailed attention to presentation.

We offer colorful meals, genuine and beautiful to see, always with a modern touch, but attentive to the local tradition. Our menus offer a choice between three first courses and three-second courses, with a buffet of vegetables and snacks.

Children, also daily, can choose from a variety of dishes dedicated to them.

The Ausonia restaurant offers the possibility for themed dinners, ceremonies, tastings and is ready to welcome small groups and meet the needs of our guests.

A GOOD AND GENUINE BREAKFAST TO START THE DAY

All breakfast desserts (as all desserts) are homemade and range from cakes, doughnuts, tarts, up to the particularly popular Tuscan Cantucci.

TASTING OUR CUISINE “IN THE SHADE”, ALSO BY THE SEA

The alternative, on the beach, is called “L’ombra” (The Shade), a small but tasty refreshment point. It is more informal but, nevertheless, attentive to product quality. It offers fried options, cold dishes, salads and take-away meals.
